Fabulous
Service was good. On the other hand, the Chief didn’t t wear sanitary mask sometimes. Good paella and coffee.
Escriba’ never disappoints. Excellent food, best location and amazing service. Top!!’
It was a late lunch -16:30- just when the locals start going back to work/wherever. The food (both paella choices) and the house wine was great. But by far the best was the service aka Anna! Sweet, passionate, (muy) simpática.
Great location and nice food
Fantástico lugar, recomendable los arroces
As usual I love the food especially the famous paella with seafood , las croquetas , las bravas, los postres ( créma catalana ) and the staff is great ( I don’t remember the name of the lovely waitress with a curly ponytail but she rocks ????) . We’ve been coming so many times that we will keep on coming here if the standard is always the same .
Fine. Prefer paellas to the fideuas, but still very pleasant.
Perfecto
I live in BCN but had never been here. Why did I wait so long?! Friendly and knowledgeable service, great views, and paellas and desserts are truly wonderful. Top-end without being pretentious.
Mu rico.
Really poor and slow service. Food (paella) was decent but not worth the premium price you pay. Great location and views of the beach.
Awesome night! Last night in Barcelona and we wanted some great paella! It was awesome and and the cava sangria was awesome too! Would recommend to anyone!
Chiringuito fashion delante del mar toda una maravilla. Arroces deliciosos y trato impecable
Food didn't have much flavor. Sangria wasn't great either, and very high priced.
Good food and service, paella de arroz negro is tasty but should have been a bit more cooked (al dente)
Nice atmosphere, good food, but nothing extraordinary.
Great good, great service, great ambiance! We came for the paella and left happy we went!
Very great atmosphere and food, got the paella negra and it was very flavorful and not too wet
Terrible paella and that’s their specialty... the good service couldn’t make the very pricey paella edible. It was disgusting.
Beautiful place right on beachfront, it was suggested from a friend that lives here in Barcelona. I enjoyed paella and grilled fish , they were both really yummy. My next stop when back to Barcelona.

"Just as the scribes of ancient Egypt were expert in hieroglyphics, and knew the secrets of calculation, the family that runs El Xiringuito d' Escribà are true experts in the art of good eating in each of its aspects and decoding with precision what is worthy of the best praise in Mediterranean cuisine.
Fideuá with mushrooms and asparagus, fried squid with cured acorn-fed ham and parmesan cheese and fish paella, are only some of delicacies that you will find here, topped with the views of Bogatell Beach, in a relaxed and informal environment ideal for any activity, together with unbeatable service.
Its decor follows simple lines, without stridency, a nice and familiar atmosphere which prepares you for the full enjoyment of a dining experience in all senses."
