Perfect evening on the terrace with elegant food and flawless service. The level of detail with the wine suggestion was particularly good!
Perhaps our favorite restaurant in Paris. Chef Bruno Turbot does mouth-watering things with fish and vegetables, and the crêpes Suzette are amazing. Don’t bother with the steak - it’s ok if you like it really rare, but you’re wasting an opportunity for an unforgettable fish experience.
The food here is exceptional. There are a lot of really good restaurants in Paris, of course - many in this neighborhood (southern arr. 17). However, XVII sur Vin excels in both the quality and presentation of the food, and the service with which it is delivered. I can't decide if it's good or bad for us that this restaurant is only 2 blocks from our apartment, because it's too tempting to eat here several times a week! The wine prices are really fair, and the food is amazing. What more can you ask for?
This restaurant is only about 2 blocks from the apartment where we stay every year when we come to Paris, and XVII sur Vin is one of our favorites in a neighborhood of very good restaurants. We had the crab salad and the grilled octopus salad for appetizers, we both had the sea bass for main courses, and we had the crepes suzette - so wonderful! - for dessert. The dishes not only taste delicious, but they are also beautifully presented. The atmosphere and service are perfect. Such a lovely place to spend an evening and have truly exquisite food.
Excellent, plats gourmands qui émoustillent les papilles
Good food, bad waiter
3rd time here. The food is always great.
Nice food, One simple menu but with very good ingredients. Nice experience.
Second time here. We have had most of the starters, lamb, fish and beef. Everything is excellent. Simple and warm decor and very good service. A “go to” place!
Tonight's meal was only our second visit to this restaurant, but it has quickly become a favorite in our neighborhood - and we have a lot of good restaurants in this area!! The preparation, quality, and presentation of all of the food - appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and beverages - are first rate. The first time, we ate scallops with risotto and sea bass with mashed potatoes. Tonight, we had the chorizo and the baked eggs for entrees, followed by the braised lamb and the noix d'entrecote. Both times, we had the amazing crepes suzette for dessert. A really exceptional dining experience. The wait staff is extremely professional and was really patient with my French! Our apartment is about a block away from this restaurant, and whenever we are here, we will be regulars at XVII Sur Vin! Amazing.
