The food was very tasty and flavorful. We had both chicken and vegetable samosas, onion bhaji and raita. Then tandoori chicken, the green curried lamb, a chicken curry and the black lentils along with plain white rice

A nice experience with traditional Indian food. Sambosa, nan with garlic, well-cooked steamed rice with lamb in tomato sauce with mushrooms and curry. Appropriately spiced, tender and fresh - served with a smile and surprisingly cheap :-)

As promised we returned for our 2nd meal here and it was just as good if not better than the first. The vegetable biryani was perfectly spiced whilst the taka dal was rich and flavoursome . The restaurant may look a little unassuming but the food and service from everyone is truly excellent. This unfortunately was our last night in Funchal but when we return Yarsagumba will be our first port of call.

A lovely family restaurant where we had one of the best curries, naan and rice we've ever had. The service was excellant and with 30% off it was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it.
