Where to start...???
Yashima is one of the poorest japanese restaurant i have encountered: it is both very expensive and gastronomically awful. yashima offer poor japanese cuisine at outrageous prices. The quality of the sushi is at the level of sushi shop with ice cold rice with no wasabi inside, the cut of the fish is industrial and the prices are the one of a 2 star rated restaurant (5 euro for single piece of sushi of toro of poor quality). The tempuras are made from frozen shrimps. The deep fried paste is greasy and heavy. When we asked for sake they answered us that they did not have any sake from their sake list...interesting for the self proclaimed "flagship of japanese gastronomy in BCN". The restaurant itself is a shaby basement with below par hygiene. When in BCN do no hesitate for a second and avoid this place you will be richer and will have most likely have enjoyed your food more....

I had high expectations about the place because it was recommended by a Japanese friend.
The people in the restaurant were rude and the price do not justify the quality of the food. Disappointed!
