very nice environment sea view, staff very friendly. We ordered Greek set and tasted very nice. I found a voucher in TripAdvisor but found out it expired but manager still offered free drink for us.

This restaurant is fabulous! The food is ab incredible! Absolutely delicious! Location,ambience,service is 100 % we had grilled calamari,Greek salad ,marinated lamb chops,the most delicious dessert and Greek coffee to finish off! Highly recommend .

Service slow and restaraunt not full. Food disappointing I think the chef is trying to put a twist on authentic Greek food instead. Had the moussaka was disappointed

Fantastic food and services with a great view. Both the lamb and grilled octopus are superb. The one in the day was very good too and so overall it was just a very nice evening out.

Great food outstanding service we keep going back. Staff even let me use the lift as I was on crutches. The lift is a service lift for the hotel not part of the restaurant. Will be going back

Great food, good service. Only issue was it was a bit hot where we were seated and the fan didn't rotate toward us! Otherwise all good, would definitely go back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our mid week dinner at YaYa's restauant. We had a view of the Esplanade and there was a lovely cool breeze. My vegetarian moussaka was one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff were friendly and attentive.

I set up a surprise for my friend and the staff were amazing! They greeted her with a surprise and celebrated her with everyone. They went above and beyond with taking care of us and making sure everyones needs were met. Very accommodating. And the food was delicious! Thank you!

It’s very rare these days that you find a restaurant that not only has good food but comes with great customer service. Costa and the Girl from Ringwood :) she will know who, we’re absolutely amazing, felt like I was having a meal with friends at home. Thank you so much.

Excellent place for a more low key but beautiful view and food sequestered from the crowds. Food was fresh and excellent. Best Greek food and wine I’ve had in Oz for months! Costa is an awesome and gracious host. Thank you!

Love this restaurant and every holiday we, my husband and I, are visiting this place. The service is excellent-quick and super- friendly, food is soo yummy,Costa-manager is so helpful and easy going. We definitely recommend this restaurant for every visitor. Thank you guys and see you next time

We had a lovely evening at Yaya’s celebrating our daughter’s birthday whilst on holiday. The food was flavoursome and authentic…we all commented that it was on point….just like how our yaya would make it. The greek bolognaise dish is a must try! The staff was attentive and Kosta the host was outstanding. An unexpected Hellenic experience in tropical Cairns! We loved it! Highly recommended.

I was told to go to Yaya's from a work colleague. The service was outstanding especially from the manager Costa. He was friendly and professional and made sure we were looked after with our 4yr daughter. The food was fantastic and delicious with authentic Greek flavours. We had to go back a second time a couple of days later it was that good!!

Fantastic food. Being Greek we judge Greek food and these guys were excellent. Great service, fast and with a smile. Well done. The lamb was above a 10 out of 10.

So glad we stopped at yaya’s. The service was fantastic with delightful staff who went out of their way to cater for dietary requirements (coeliac disease). The food was delicious, reminding me of home-cooked Mediterranean meals. This is a must

Great dining experience at Yaya's. Being of Greek background I am always a hard marker, but the food was delicious and fresh. If you want fantastic, unpretentious greek food, with great service and a lovely venue, look no further.

Very good experience with Greek food, which actually had more in common with my Portuguese background than I thought. The staff is really friendly and the service top knotch. All of that combined with the food and views, it's highly recommended!

What was not to love about this Greek restaurant with the feel of a family run taverna? The view of the Esplanade below from the outdoor deck was interesting and romantic. I arrived with a desire for baked lamb, and it lived up to my highest expectations, plus there was enough to take home for another meal. The Taramasalata accompanied with a small freshly baked loaf of bread was excellent and the mixed grill plate with fish, prawns, calamari and salad that my partner had looked amazing, and the server was fun and efficient.
