7.5/10Main chicken pentang curry was good but expensive at nearly nineteen pounds . The sea bass was nice . As two vegetarians we wanted a vegetarian wrap , but they didn’t have any , so we said we’d like a pizza , but they didn’t have any , so we just had soup , which was like dish water and had no taste , and fries . Not the first time many things aren’t offered which was on the menu

10/10It wasn't our first time eating at this traditional pub. As always, the food was hearty, tasty and with plentiful portions. Thank you for a lovely evening with excellent, friendly service, also accommodating our specific table request. We'll be coming back!

7.5/10I took my son to celebrate his birthday . The olives were not pitted and sticks were not provided only spoons and plates . No flat bread was available . Two of the starters were out of stock ( one which he wanted ) for desserts three items were out of stock ( one which he wanted ) The water provided was fizzy not still as requested . The veggie burger was spoilt because it was fried in oil . Have had much better from here before .They could do better and will lose customers if they try to cut back on important items . It is better to charge more and have an exceptional experience

10/10The food was of good quality served on hot plates . Good presentation . All menu items were available. Staff were polite . Meal was relaxed and not hurried but service was available when needed . Ambience is good . Garden tables available . Bar area and dining area . Range of toilets available including disabled . Good range of drinks and cocktails . Dress code smart casual . There is a free car park but you must register your car on entry . I would recommend The Olde Cherry Tree as a place to take family and friends .

8.5/10Quality of food varies . Sometimes it is excellent , other times good . On one occasion it was inedible . I was told there used to be a new chef . So just bear in mind it can be variable . The plus side is there is parking , reasonable toilets . The bar area is dog friendly and there is a garden area

10/10Great food pub with tons of history. Quiet on a Monday but still attracted customers. Nice to sit outside as it was warm but inside is a very pleasant environment and quaintly comfortable.

9/10Very good venue for our family get-together that included two four year olds, a toddler and a baby. Everyone enjoyed their food, we were given a lovely table with plenty of space and the service was warm and efficient. Thank you very much.

10/10The pub has really improved recently Arun and Penny were fantastic last Fri lunch. The team Weds eve also v good. Will keep this as a regular place.

9/10Cosy atmosphere, real fire in fireplace, attentive, friendly staff. Traditional Sunday Lunch, Large, well-cooked portions, like real home cooking. My only small criticism was that the main meal had been 'kept hot', and was a little dry. My W.I.E.T.A ( Would I Eat There Again ) Rating: 9 / 10.

10/10The food and drink were great, we came on a Sunday. A really lovely gastropub with a buzzing, countryside atmosphere. Lots of parking, the fireplaces were lit and we had kind staff to serve us.

10/10The food is consistently good. Fresh and hot. That's not always the case with restaurants. My comfortable go to place. The staff are polite and helpful as well.

7/10Love old pub with a garden, that was heaving on the day we went. We had a bit of a wait before they came and took our order. 2 of our party had ordered the roast and when it arrived it wasn't as hot as we'd like. Given the difficult circumstances, it was ok.

10/10So nice to be able to go out for a Sunday lunch once again! The staff were very efficient although a bit of a wait for lunch when ot arrived it did not disappoint. Staff genuinely seemed pleased to see us. The puddings were delicious also. One of my favourite places. Thank you ye old cherry tree
