YOSHI - En japonais, Yoshi signifie "c'est bien". Et cela se confirmera lorsque vous vous rendrez chez Yoshi. Situé entre l'Etoile et Iéna, ce restaurant initie à la gastronomie japonaise traditionnelle pour un voyage sensoriel sans quitter Paris.

AMBIANCE SOBRE - Le restaurant japonais vous invite à prendre place dans un cadre sobre et épuré. La salle s’affiche dans les tons de marron, beige et blanc. Impression : Yoshi !

Just great!
Although the chef is not Japanese, he is well trained at former Japanese restaurant.
So it was great taste.

Nice, small, peaceful and quiet place when there aren't too many customers. Food is excellent, well presented and not overpriced for such a good meal in this kind of a restaurant. Fresh products, can really feel the difference! I recommend absolutely

Excellent food! Especially the foie gras chawanmushi, lobster risotto and sashimi! We definitely want to eat the foie gras chawanmushi again. We were excited to find a good Japanese restaurant in Paris.

Hmm, well, as most comments I would agree this is authentic japanese. As for that being a good thing Im not as sure. I might just be an imbisile but for me a lot of tastes are just foreign here. Not bad, but certainly different.

GO EAT HERE. Yoshi is the Real Deal.

"The best Japanese meal I've had in 2 years' living in Paris", "that chawanmushi is in the top 3 I've had in my life, and the other 2 were in kaisekiryori restaurants in Tokyo 5 times the price", "this chef is brilliant. And well-trained. And brilliant. And creative. He has a talent." --These quotes are from my husband, who's Japanese and has eaten in the most-expensive and also the most "recommended by Japanese residents" restaurants in Paris. I know, because I've been there, too...2weeks ago we spent nearly 4x more for a skimpy-yet-delicious at "Benkay". 4 times more, no kidding.

Our meal at Yoshi was wholly authentic, very special, exquisitely creative in the use of seasonal ingredients, and cost absolutely no more than you'd pay at a crummy random Japanese restaurant in Paris. I'm serious, this is THE place to go. GO EAT THERE now, before everyone catches on and Benkay steals their chef.
