About the restaurant Ziaboga Bistro

Ziaboga es un restaurante ubicado a los pies del monte Jaizkibel con unas vistas preciosas del puerto de Pasai Donibane.

Este local fue inaugurado en 1988, cuando se hizo famoso por sus parrilladas de pescado y marisco, especialidad que hoy en día sigue conservando. En los fogones, las riendas las lleva el chef Álex Barcenilla y con su talento y unos ingredientes de calidad, ha creado un lugar de encuentro para los amantes de la gastronomía. No podrás rechazar la merluza en salsa verde o la ensalada de langostinos.

El restaurante Ziaboga incluso cuenta con un equipo de I+D que realizan interesantes cursillos, catas, demostraciones y jornadas gastronómicas sobre productos de temporada para los interesados en este mundo.

    Con los autobuese de lurraldebus, el E9 te dejará en la rotonda de San Pedro, andamos 4´bordeando el puerto hasta el embarcadero y cruzamos la ría en la motora .
  • Specific directions to get there
    Si vienes desde Donostia, recomendamos llegar a San Juan desde el embarcadero de San Pedro cruzando la ría en la motora.
  • Car park En San Pedro junto a la lonja del pescado. En San Juan justo antes de la entrada a la peatonal.

Unique location by ferry boat ride across the fishing boat harbour to San Pedro. Only 4kms from the centre of San Sebastian. Beautiful fresh seafood. We had 6 course fixed price menu. A$105 for 2 people including a glass of wine and coffee. Home made pea soup starter; anchovies; fried squid and sardines; grilled baby prawns. Half a dozen choices for mains. I had hake cheeks stuffed with crab meat and my wife had mixed seafood lightly fried including king prawns and several different fish. Choice of home made cakes for dessert. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our limited Spanish. Had an extra bottle of very good local white wine - sold at retail price. A wonderful experience all round in a charming location. There are a half dozen seafood restaurants lining the wharf but it would be hard to beat Ziaboga for freshness, value and friendliness.
