Joâo was lovely and attentive. The wine was a perfect choice. The vegetable soup was a.little bland, the chestnut soup too rich. My husband enjoyed his beef entree. My octopus was not as tender as promised, but okay.

The Zimbral restaurant is part of a small, very elegant 5 star hotel a few minutes outside of Setúbal. Just arriving in this nice location puts you in a good mood. The restaurant is small, managed by very competent and helpful staff. The food is excellent, and we had some excellent Rose wine with our meal. Very nice experience!!

The service was spectacular! Everyone was so kind and helpful, and checked in on us thru out the evening! The food was delicious and presented perfectly! Make sure you have their warm bread and starters at the beginning of the meal!
