I like the fact that the menu is small and therefore super fresh but that specific day, the dishes were just ok, nothing special. However, the service is really exceptionnal, super friendly and nice and location is beautiful

If you’re searching for a quiet and cosy space with a strong social energy, Zoku’s living kitchen is the perfect spot for that. From the ambient music, the view over the Rijksmuseum to the plants all over the social spaces it gives the place a very peaceful atmosphere. As someone living in amsterdam, you can also get the feeling that you went out of the noises and energy of the city center for a night, which feels really great. Food was fresh, bread was also very recently baked,

Really great find in Amsterdam. Looks slightly unpromising from the outside but as soon as you get to the top of the life you're in another place. Will be looking forward to coming back soon.

I think there could be more effort on the food taste but overall atmosphere and service are absolutely amazing

Good location and views of Amsterdam. Nice concept and design of the space. They should improve the organization of the service, we had to wait despite we had reservation.

The dinner we had was during a pop up chef theme night and was great and super value for money. The staff at zoku was lovely as always. Definitely recommended!!

Lunch buffet with friends. Location and view are fantastic and staff very welcoming and professional. The buffet-style lunch was of reasonable quality, but pricey. I think it would be better to have simpler dishes but served better. and better quantities. The 'hot dishes' in particular were not very hot warm, less tasty and smallish quantities. Give more attention to portion sizes and serve the food at a correct temperature. Focus less on creating too many over complicated salads.

It was nice entry to the restaurant. But then it was quite busy, Sunday brunch time. The staffs were nice In general but they seemed a bit confused when I asked for my reserved table. We had to wait a few minutes and they gave us a table but then it was a table with the bench seating. We booked for six ppl and the seat was just not spacey enough for all of us. We barely fit and it was very uncomfortable but we did not want to complain, wait for more and let them to figure out the seat. Since it seemed already very hectic. We wanted to order a bottle of red wine but then the staff at the bar was occupied for so long with a phone call and there were a bunch of ppl waiting for something, so we went back and forth like 3times to get the attention from them since they don’t take the drink order from the restaurant. One of the staff told us to go order at the bar but the bar side was already busy with other guests with other stuff (check-in/out or etc.) The food was good but then it took for awhile so we were already quite full before the dish came. All in all, it was quite chaotic. The place itself was beautiful but wasn’t able to enioy much.

The brunch offer is great! Very good price/quality. If the weather is nice, the restaurant is very bright and the view is lovely. The staff is also amazing! Super helpful and very happy to work there. Definetely a spot to bring your friends / family!

Wow, that's an overwhelming place for all senses! From the exterior, it can pass by something casual, nothing special. But once you reach the 6th floor, you first enter a very symphatic roof garden and then BOOM there goes the splendid open space dining room and kitchen, strong magnificent scent and a feast for the eyes with on one side very nice-looking dishes, and the other that panoramic view of the city! Our breakfast was perfection with a very professional and gentle staff and of course fresh juices, bread (that you can toast yourself), eggs, salad, cereals, hot drinks...and of course, cheese, yes, Dutch cheese!! Even being a little on the outside of the center (15 mins walk but 5 mins by tram), Zoku should be part of every tourist experience here to understand how sweet and unique is the dutch way of life.

I love the self-service concept, the location is cool and unique, very friendly and buzzy atmosphere. On Fridays there is a live jam session in the adjacent room which serves as nice background music. The menu is limited to one meat, one fish and one veg dish but all were delicious and made choosing easier.

Yummy, great food in a relaxed, cool atmosphere! The personnel is really nice, always willing to help and flexible and welcomes you with a lovely smile on the face. What else can you ask from a restaurant?

Good brunch concept but failed in execution. No one around to direct patrons on how the unusual concept works or what to do. The bread/fruit buffet was empty the entire time we were there.
