    The service was good, the waitresses were speaking English also. The menu is in french, English and some local languages. The food was tasty, but the pintxos(pinchos/tapas) were amazing, so if you are not so hungry and don’t want to sit on a fancy table you cand go just to stand at the bar with a glass of “Tinto” wine and some pinchos/tapas.

    In the basement of a bustling tapas bar, this restaurant is elegant and relaxing. We chose the 36€ menu, selecting 2 different items for each course, and allowing 2 different and excellent preparations of our favorite food, foie gras. The lotte was a little tough, but its porcini sauce was earthy and rich; and the jamon Iberico sliced paper-thin was a standout. We upgraded our wine from the Crianza included with the menu to a Reserva for an extra 17€, and were impressed that it was a 2004 vintage. Our waiter was friendly, multilingual, and very helpful.

    Having read lots of good feedback on TripAdvisor we were disappointed.We had the set menu. Wouldn't say don't go it's a nice place but don't have the set menu, I had to send my steak back to be cooked more that's my choice not a problem, my husbands monkfish had to go back as this was not very hot ( no vegetables ) and none on the menu to order

    The food was good value and I really enjoyed my apple cake dessert. Both our steaks were a bit too heavily salted but we were able to scrape most of this off. The waitress was lovely and friendly and spoke great English and was very helpful.

    Very correct food, nice service, clean interior. We had the lamb, langoustines and clams. Make sure you get what you order, as in many Spanish restos, the meat comes without vegs or patatas.

    Tapas upstairs are great and so is the atmosphere The restaurant downstairs is disappointing. Other than our fish, its bland food served in a room totally lacking in charm.

    The restaurant is a nice cellar type with lovely stone walls and prim and proper tableware. The dishes promised a lot but lacked in really getting us excited compared to our other venues in San Sebastian and Biarritz on our tour. A safe restaurant choice - nothing spectacular but nothing wrong at all.
