I felt ignored. After sitting down, no one came to the table for at least 20 minutes. We did not get our main course until an hour 10 minutes after we sat down. No one checked on us during any course. The food and ambience are OK. Despite making reservations a while in advance, we were given probably the worst Table in the restaurant, by the door to the outside. It was constantly opening with people entering and leaving, with the cold air blasting us each time.

We had reservation a day before and when we arrived they informed us that our table is taken by another customer and they made a new small table for us just in front of the entrance door and said “this is what is available either take it or leave it “ Very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional way of communicating

The food was some of the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The antipasta was soggy and both pasta dishes were ordered flavorless. Ambience was strange. The restaurant blasted 70s and 80s US songs and had a tacky mural of “The Kiss” on the wall.

We’d made a reservation about a week ahead. Upon arrival, the hostess said there were only bar seats on the main floor, and then escorted us down 2 flights to the basement bar with more bar seats. We really wanted to have a nice dinner at a table. She vanished as we stood there. Thankfully another staff member came to our aid. She interceded for us because the hostess doesn’t speak English but didn’t let us know that. Finally, we were seated at the two-top that we’d seen upon arrival. OK, let’s eat! The menu was less varied and creative than the Michelin write-up had indicated. We selected simple items: chicken soup, steak with mushrooms, salmon with potatoes and spinach sauce. All tasted adequate, if a bit too salty. The mushrooms were over cooked. The spinach sauce was cold. But the proteins had flavor. We had higher hopes, and instead got a decent meal worthy of a suburban hotel restaurant.

We had empty room without lights (in beginning our dinner, it was really dark area on the -2 floor without music), we didn’t have coat hanger and seats were uncomfortable. the view of our meals were simple and boring. The fish had weird taste, risotto was like porridge. My wife and I had terrible “romantic” dinner in Vienna
