Food was exceedingly mild and boring for an Indian food restaurant. The lamb curry was quite tasty, but served without raita, dal or any accompaniment. Not a place we’d return to.

On a warm rainy July evening in Bordeaux - a touch of ‘Indian - Bangladeshi’ cuisine in the heart of the city. Very good quality food, nice atmosphere and friendly service, as well as good value.

I booked a table before my boyfriend and I travelled to Bordeaux. I messaged as this was a birthday dinner and I received very quick responses to all my questions. The food was lovely and so was the service. The staff there speak both French and English which was appreciated as they helped explain some of the dishes to us. I didn’t ask for anything extra, I just mentioned it was a surprise but they played some wonderful music and brought out a desert with a candle for my boyfriend which was so sweet! If you’re looking for tasty Indian or Pakistani food then I highly recommend. Great service and if we didn’t live in London we would 100% be going back!

Food amazing. However, we booked for 13.30. (online booking gave us the option between 12.00 and 2pm) on arrival we were told as we had a late booking we could not have a starter and we could not have poppadoms. We asked politely to squeeze in some poppadoms but they again refused, although they did bring out the usual 3 side accompaniment for poppadoms! Then offered us dessert after the meal. Not happy but the main meal was very nice.

The atmosphere and food is so cool! I advise sitting down inside since they provide very authentic design and music. In addition, the staff is very nice. I went there with my "the fork" reduction. Although they did not see my reduction on their system and my internet was not working, they just trusted me and let me to use my reduction without questioning. I am very happy for this experience and definitely advise this restaurant to everyone! I will definitely go there again

The Rajwal is a really good address. We had a great experience with the atmosphere and the excellent service. The food was gorgeous, it has some really decent original flavours and can transport you to India and Pakistan.
