The service was very good and the setting was superb. We wanted an element dining experience. Of our four entrees, one was not up to par. The chicken dish was terribly overcooked. The service staff replaced it quickly but an elegent dining experience cannot have one person waiting while others eat. The only other thing I'd add is that the selection of entress is very limited. Understandable if the items are complex, but this is not the case. Fairly simple offering, so we would expect a few more items to chose from

The restaurant has a really nice vibe with cozy lighting and live piano music, which makes for a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was a bit on the slow side. As for the food, it was a different story entirely. The risotto was undercooked, and the fish still had a few bones in it—definitely not ideal for a €40 dish. The pork came with chips (?!?), which felt a little out of place for a €40 plate. Despite being hungry and trying to look past the chips and rice, the "pavlova" was definitely a disappointment—it wasn’t edible, more like a thin, salty, sour meringue with what tasted like expired strawberry coulis. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that didn’t live up to the restaurant's reputation or its high prices. Thankfully, we had a 50% discount through The Fork, so it wasn’t as frustrating, but with the quality, price, and hype, I don’t think I’d rush back anytime soon.

Girlfriends day out and I wanted to try a new restaurant. So of course I went on TheFork app to do my research. Astoria came up, had great ratings and I loved the atmosphere in the pictures. We arrived and are lovely server took care of us from the beginning to the end. She was absolutely fantastic. We chose the executive lunch menu starting with soup or salad and then entrée and ending with dessert. I highly suggest this. The restaurant was indeed lovely, cozy, and the food was delicious

The food was overly salty. Two people ordered the same dish (the duck) and the portions were wildly different. One was much larger than the other. The glazed mushrooms were not good and clearly poor quality. However, the salmon was amazing.

The ambience is lovely, beautifully decorated. The staff is welcoming and polite, but the service was slow. It took a long time for the food to be served. My only complaint is about the menu. The only vegan dish had a honey & mustard sauce, which obviously is not vegan. I asked to substitute the honey and the chef promptly prepared with maple syrup instead. The cauliflower steak with mashed potato was delicious. There was no vegan dessert in the menu, it is a pity.
