9.5/10The ambience is lovely, beautifully decorated. The staff is welcoming and polite, but the service was slow. It took a long time for the food to be served. My only complaint is about the menu. The only vegan dish had a honey & mustard sauce, which obviously is not vegan. I asked to substitute the honey and the chef promptly prepared with maple syrup instead. The cauliflower steak with mashed potato was delicious. There was no vegan dessert in the menu, it is a pity.

7/10Some of the bbq items were over salted, some were under salted, and some came out cold. The dishes were dirty as they seem to have been left outside for a long time. The music and setup was great however.

9/10good food, pleasant atmosphere but they didn't do our bill correctly (not what we ordered, more charges than we ordered, etc.) we were in a rush to get to our sunset view reservation so I didn't stop to question but it was rather annoying

3/10I would never go to Astoria again. It was a terrible mistake. Service was the worst and the food was blah. We went to another restaurant afterwards.

10/10High end food. Even with the Fork discount it is not cheap - but well worth it. Food is classy and excellent waiter explained it all us. Good tempo to serving food and drink. We were first people there but several other tables filled up afterwards. My main was duck which was great and came with imaginative veg. My wife loved it too and waiter picked up on first name of our disabled adult son. Only gripe is that it is not easy to find as within hotel with no restaurant sign outside - perhaps they like it that way!

7/10The food was disappointing, we ordered leitão and polvo, the leitão was very small with tasteless potatoes, and the polvo was tasteless. The service was excellent.

4/10Food was absolutely horrible, explaining the completely empty restaurant. We talked about if maybe the chef went home and in stead they had a drunk stranger tend the kitchen serving a random mess of overcooked, tasteless nonsense. Store bought pitas in stead of herb naan. Most elements over or under-cooked. The seitan ravioli was fully burned - completely inedible. We were shocked.

8/10The Astoria restaurant is magnificent, beautifully decorated. The brunch was okay, passable, I can't say "very good" or "excellent" because the food wasn't good. The starters (ham, smoked salmon, salads, etc.) were tasty and some were excellent. The main courses (cabrito and bacalhau com nata) could be better and one might even wonder why the Intercontinental has nothing else to offer as a main course on the last day of 2023? I like to have brunch wherever I go (Paris - Grand Café de la Paix, Switzerland - Fairmont Montreux Palace Hotel etc.) and unfortunately, the one at the Astoria isn't up to palace standards. The setting is very pleasant and the food must be excellent.

10/10At first, it was a but difficult to find the restaurant as so many of the roads to it were blocked for renovations. We arrived and greeted with warmth by the staff. The price was great, we took Cod Fish and White Fish for the main plat, they were so good! The dessert was also excellent, imI forgot the name tho. I think I would love to come back there to try their octopus. Overall, this restaurant deserves a lot more reviews because I love the vibe! Very romantic, quiet, and exclusive.
